Origins: Inspired by the lettering found on surviving vintage needlepoint versions of Home Sweet Home, we are very pleased with our efforts to recreate this traditional and time honored sentiment in one of our carvings. The letterform is an ornate blackletter style we believe lends itself particularly well to carving and, at the same time, is faithful to the styling of its original needlepoint ancestors.

This is a great piece for any home and an excellent housewarming gift destined to become an heirloom that will grace the homes of family members for generations to come.

Recommended Finish: This piece is beautiful in all woods and finishes and it is particularly hard to choose a favorite of ours. If pressed, our Vintage Cherry version would probably have the edge. Knowing where it is to be installed is perhaps the most important factor to help inform your finish selection.
