Full Inscription: Narrow is the Way - Matthew 7:14

Origins: For this beautifully simple and important thought, we selected a beautifully simple letterform. It was created by Chicagoan Roland Weibking in 1912 during the American Arts and Crafts (or Craftsman) period. We believe the smooth flow of the letters lends a cleanness and clarity that really works with the thought.

In the course of our daily trials and tribulations, it can be difficult to keep to the right path and we like this carving as a strong, but subtle reminder to hold true to course.

Recommended Finish: We like the Heritage Oak finish for the sense of age it gives the piece and it works well with the larger lettering. However, the lighter toned Classic Oak finish is also nice and does create a greater contrast between the finish and the carved areas for increased readability.
